Meet The Team

Cinda Gee, MS, NCC, LPC/MHSP
I first became interested in autism at the age of 5 during an encounter at a doctor's office with a child who had the disorder. When I asked the nurse what was wrong with the child, she responded that he was locked inside his mind. Even at that young age, I was very in tune with my own thoughts and felt horrified at the idea of any child being trapped within themselves. That moment sparked a lifelong passion in me for helping individuals break free from whatever confines them. As I grew older, I pursued an intensive study of autism and ADHD, recognizing these as two significant neurodevelopmental disorders that are often treatable. My background in trauma led me to develop a deep understanding of PTSD, a condition that frequently keeps individuals tethered to their past experiences. This interest naturally expanded to include dissociative disorders, particularly Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID). Through training and experience, I delved into this intricate web of disorders, which strengthened my foundation in neuroscience and fueled my desire to effectively treat various other disorders while supporting fellow therapists in their journeys. I have substantial experience providing close support and supervision to interns and pre-licensed therapists, offering both formal and informal training to peers and colleagues, as well as consultations to those embarking on their own paths to help others.

Kimberly Wright, MS,
I am a pre-licensed therapist with ten years of experience in Mental Health Counseling, specializing in trauma therapy, talk therapy, and supporting special populations. My approach is rooted in evidence-based techniques derived from research and neuroscience. I employ methods such as Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI), alongside creative arts, to assist clients in processing painful experiences and alleviating their impact. Most recently, I worked as a therapist with highly traumatized female inmates in a correctional facility for 15 months, which was a deeply rewarding experience. Additionally, I have provided support to at-risk youth for two years, assisted adults with opioid use disorder for one year, and worked with adults and teens experiencing substance use disorders for another year. For six years, I have taught psychology courses as an adjunct at UT Martin, Ripley Campus, which I have found to be incredibly fulfilling. I also operated as a licensed private investigator through my own business for several years. My passion for psychology ignited during my teenage years, fueled by a desire to help individuals facing psychological challenges. Personal experiences with mental health issues inspired me to bridge the gaps I encountered in my own upbringing, motivating me to be the supportive figure I once needed. Alongside trauma work, I possess considerable experience helping clients manage anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, workplace issues, substance use disorders, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Bipolar Disorder, Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), Schizoaffective Disorder, and more. I also have some experience with Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID) and Antisocial Personality Disorder (APD). I am dedicated to guiding clients in overcoming intrusive memories, minimizing internal pain, enhancing emotional regulation, and building insight to strengthen resilience and self-understanding. If you are feeling overwhelmed by past experiences, I want to reassure you that healing is within reach with the right treatment and support. I offer a compassionate, nonjudgmental environment where processing, growth, and moving forward can take place. I invite you to take the next step toward healing with me.
